Welcome to Colorado National Monument Images.  The Colorado National Monument contains a number of beautiful canyons located on the Colorado Plateau in western Colorado near Grand Junction and Fruita.  It was set aside as a National Monument in 1911 thanks to the efforts of John Otto and is managed by the National Park Service like any other National Park.

Living in Grand Junction, I have spent many years hiking and exploring this treasure of a park that is practically in my backyard and have taken many photos along the way.  If you are looking for high quality images and prints from the Colorado National Monument, then you have come to the right place.  Many of the these images have graced the pages of the annual calendar that the Colorado National Monument Association puts together to sell at the Visitor Center including two cover photos.  Many of them have also been published in magazine articles and travel guides for the area.   Make sure to visit my full gallery of Colorado National Images right here.

If you are looking for other high quality nature and landscape images of the southwest including ancient ruins and rock art, make sure to visit all of the galleries on the main Anasazi Photography website.
